CAPITAL ADEQUACY RATIO (CAR), LOAN TO DEPOSIT RATIO (LDR), NON PERFORMING LOAN (NPL) DAN BIAYA OPERASIONAL PENDAPATAN OPERASIONAL (BOPO) YANG BERIMPLIKASI TERHADAP RETURN ON ASSET (ROA) PADA PT. BANK RAKYAT INDONESIA (PERSERO), TBK
Abstract
The aims of this study are to analyze the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR),
Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Non Performing Loan (NPL) and Operational
Efficiency Ratio (OER/BOPO) on Return on Assets (ROA) at PT. Bank Rakyat
Indonesia (Persero), Tbk. This study was taken because there are still differences
between the research studies with each other. This research was conducted using
secondary data. Variables used in this study were, Return on Assets (ROA) as the
dependent variable and the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Loan to Deposit Ratio
(LDR), Non Performing Loan (NPL) and Operational Efficiency Ratio
(OER/BOPO) as an independent variable. The analysis method used is multiple
linear regression analysis, previously performed classical assumptions test that
included normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and
autocorrelation test. And then the latter using multiple correlation analysis,
determination analysis, t-test and F-test for hypothesis testing. The results of this
study showed that, partially and simultaneously Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR),
Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Non Performing Loan (NPL) and Operational
Efficiency Ratio (OER/BOPO) has significant effect on Return on Assets (ROA).
Prediction capability from these four variables toward Return on Assets (ROA) is
72.90%, where the balance 27.10% is affected to other factor which was not to be
entered to research model.
Keywords: Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), Operational Efficiency Ratio (OER/BOPO) and Return on Assets (ROA).
