PENENTU NIAT MAHASISWA SISTEM INFORMASI STIKOM BALI MEMILIH KONSENTRASI

Abstract

STIKOM Bali is a university has three study programs: computer system study program, information system, and informatics management. Information system study program itself has three concentrations of Information System Developer (ISD), Business Intelligence (BI) and Multimedia Developer. Each of these concentrations has characteristics such as subjects, skills and job opportunities for each concentration. The selection of concentrations is based primarily on student interest at a certain concentration. In addition to interest, the value factor will influence the final decision for the determination of student concentration. Consideration of each student in choosing the concentration will vary from one to another. This is because students have different talents, interests, ideals and perceptions or views in assessing the concentration of the study program. Based on the problems that have been described, then in this study will be conducted research to determine the intentions of students study program STIKOM Bali choose concentration system. In this research the factors used as determinants of intention are attitude, subjective norm, perceptual behavior control and spiritual motivation. The research method used in this research is problem definition, data collection, analysis, data processing and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that the dependent variable of intention is only influenced by independent variables of subjective norm and behavior control.
