Abstract

The research is aimed to analyze the effect of Leadership and Motivation on Working Satisfaction and Employee Performance (A Case Study in PT Cahaya Surya Bali Indah). The research sample consists of 56 employee PT. Cahaya Surya Bali Indah. Datawhich are then analyzed by Path Analysis Theory. The analysis shows that (i) leadership has positive influence and plays significant role to the working satisfaction; (ii) motivation has positive influence and plays significant role to the working satisfaction; (iii) leadership has positive influence and plays significant role to the employee performence, (iv) motivation has no positive influence and plays no significant role to the employee performance;(v) working satisfaction has positive influence and plays significant role to the employee performance, and (vi) working satisfaction can facilitate and mediate leadership to the employee performance, and working satisfaction of employee performance of PT Cahaya Surya Bali Indah. The result indicates that to improve leadership, motivation, and working satisfaction in order to improve employee performences, the management should pay serious attention to some factors, such as, leadership, motivation, and working satisfaction. In reaching leadership improvement of PT Cahaya Surya Bali Indah , it’s advised to the management to improve communication properly as give command to the employee. On the other hand, to improve motivation, it’s suggested to fulfill psychological needs, improving working satisfaction that is the satisfaction in receiving income. The salary must be adjusted to the standard creteria of income evaluation held by management PT Cahaya Surya Bali Indah.
