PENGARUH MOTIVASI DAN PENGEMBANGAN KARIER PADA KEPUASAN KERJA, SERTA DAMPAKNYA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN (STUDI PADA LPD DESA ADAT TEGAL)
The employees’ performance is the most important aspect in realizing vision and mission which are in line with the expectation. Motivation and career development become major concern regarding to good employee performance. This research aims to test the effect of motivation and career development to job satisfaction and its impact on employees working performance on the Village Credit institution (LPD) in Tegal Customary Village. The problem of the study is the low satisfaction of the employees which affect their working performance in giving service to the society. The respondents in this research were the employees of Village Credit Institution (LPD) in Tegal customary village consisting of 53 people. The methods used to collect data in this research were questionnaire, interview, and documentation. This study applied path analysis using SPSS 17.0. program. The results showed that the job satisfaction had not been able to mediate the relationship between motivation and career development to employees’ working performance. Motivation had significant influence to the employees’ working performance; however, both career development and job satisfaction did not have significant effect on the employees working performance. The practical implication of this research is that motivation given by the Village credit institution (LPD) in Tegal customary village to its employees could encourage the employees working performance to a better performance even though the career development had not given any positive support to the employees’ working performance.
